Method of Application

Plastic bottles for fine applications; glue may also be spread with a roller spreader or brush.

Cleanup

Damp cloth while glue is wet. Scrape off and sand dried excess.

Paras liima. Mun mielestä sen vahvuus taso lähes d4. Esim.mä käytän tämä liima, kun valmistan pystypuuleikulaudat. Liima ei pelkää vettää, eikä pesuainetta. Kestä tosi hyvin.

Vastoin ohjeita tein testinä vaneriveneen TITE BOND liimalla ja rosteriruuveilla. Pintakäsitely vanhanajan venelakka vene on kovassa käytössä saumat edelleen täysin ehjät pitävät. Vene on n. 4,5 m pitkä ja n. 1,6 m leveä liimasaumoja sekä pohjassa, että kyljissä.
Moottori teho 15 hv. Venettä on käytetty lapissa järvivedessä. Viime viikolla venho taas vesille. Talvi ja väliaika säilytys venepeiton alla ranturin päällä.

Erinomainen liimasauman lujuus, helppo käytettävyys ja ennenkaikkea myrkyttömyys! Helppo levittää, mutta toisaalta valuu hyvin helposti. Ei ole armollinen liimasauman virheille. Valuu pois hyvin pienistäkin raoista jättäen ne auki. Eli liimattavien pintojen tulee olla erittäin hyvin yhteensopivat.

Liima on hyvin vetisen oloinen eli liimattavat kappaleet pitää sopia hyvin toisiinsa. Jos jää rakoja valuu herkästi pois, helppo levittää ja kuivuu nopeasti. Liimaus sauma tuntuu lujan tuntuiselta.
