Ostin tämän koska halusin sorvata pieniä esineitä, mutta tämä on yllättänyt hyödyllisyydellään ja monipuolisuudellaan. Se leikkaa tuhlaamatta materiaalia ja kapea ja korkea terä tekee siitä terävän ja stabiilin, katkaiseminen on monin verroin nopeampaa kuin tavallisella katkaisutaltalla. Terotukseen menee sekunti, mutta usein voi vain hetken käyttää väärin päin niin on taas terävä ja tämä myös tylsyy muotonsa takia todella hitaasti. Korkea muoto auttaa myös vapaalla kädellä saamaan katkaisupinnasta riittävän suoran ilman kulmaviivaimia. Veitsellä saa nättejä koristeuria, kaivettua vastakärjen ympärillä pyörivät viimeiset kuidut työn pyöriessä, ja se mahtuu kärkivälisorvauksessa kaivelemaan upotuksiakin vastakärjen ympärille. Helmiprofiilia sorvatessa tämä on täydellinen kahden helmikoristeen välissä. Monet viistotaltan hommat tulee tehtyä tällä nopsemmin ja ilman takapotkuja kun tämä ei ikinä rouhaise kiinni ja leikkaa varsin matalillakin kierrosluvuilla. Kapea muoto on tehokas ja kuumenee vähemmän kuin leveämpi katkaisutaltta. Jos jotain moitetta tästä haluaa etsimällä etsiä, niin pystyasennossa säilytettäessä keikkaa helposti nurin, koska kahva painaa enemmän kuin terä... Ainahan hinta voisi olla halvempikin, mutta olen käyttänyt kyllä koko rahan edestä, joten 5 tähteä hinnalle sen takia.
