The Polar Bear ULTIMATE series is our own imported machine, based on the technology of the WorkBee product family, with the familiar V-slot profile C-track design and aluminium end plates. The Ultimate is a development version based on this product family, where the mechanics have been taken a step further with HGR linear guides and SFS ball screws.

Polar Bear Ultimate features

Electronically and mechanically all-inclusive complete kit: only the spindle and dust extraction parts need to be selected.
Spindle options:
- AMB DI spindles - lightweight and easy to switch digitally controlled spindles with ER16 or ER20 bushing (available in 1050W and 1400W versions)
- Inverter spindles (= spindle + frequency converter "VFD") - requires professional electrical connections
- AMB / Mafell / Suhner - etc. basic 43mm spindles without digital control (manual start and speed control)
- Own spindle - you can also use any of your own spindles on the machine, which you can attach to a 43mm or 80mm bracket

xPRO V5 - control electronics unit and steppers ready configured by us -> fast, safe and tested commissioning. No fear of a faulty circuit board or incorrect settings.
Very high 180mm Z-capacity thanks to 10mm thick aluminium plates and sturdier construction (150mm with standard micro switch position -> 180mm possible by changing micro switch position)
HGR15 - with linear soldering and HGH15CA with linear coils. With one unit, the dynamic load rating is 14kN (1400kg)
SFS1210 and SFU1204 ball screws ensure high speed and repeatability. The 10mm lift makes the machine fast on X and Y axes. A 4mm lift is used on the Z axis, allowing heavy spindles to be used without fear of the motors sinking down when the machine is not powered.
Power supply is a high quality MeanWell IP67 dustproof ready encapsulated power supply (doesn't require "DIY" 230V electrical installation like cheaper power supplies)
Accuracy of 0.01mm or better
Calculated accuracy of 0.00625mm on X/Y axes, and 0, 0025mm on Z axis
All wiring pre-wired and tested by us
Emergency standby pre-wired

Circuit Card xPRO V5 - Features

xPRO V5 is a highly advanced GRBL CNC controller. It was developed by Spark Concepts, a US-based company that has been manufacturing GRBL CNC products for many years. It runs on a 32-bit processor with over 4x the processing power of most other GRBL controllers. xPRO V5 is pre-assembled and pre-installed with the latest version of GRBL and configured by us. The stepper motor controllers easily fit our High Torque Stepper Motors and can even feed stronger motors such as the Nema34.

The Polar Bear ULTIMATE machine series is a new machine of our own import, featuring technology based on the familiar WorkBee product design, with the familiar V-slot profile C-rail construction and aluminium end plates. The Ultimate is a development version based on this product family, where the mechanics have been taken further with HGR linear guides and SFS ball screws.

Each machine undergoes a careful check and ready configuration to ensure a quick and safe commissioning.

The circuit board allows direct software control of the spindle, so we have chosen to give priority to such spindle options. However, there is nothing to prevent the use of other spindles that can be attached to the machine.

The frame parts (aluminium plates and rails, bolts, nuts, etc.) according to the selected frame size. )
mechanics of the selected frame size (everything needed to move the machine, such as linear guides, ball screws etc)
